Why Xbox 360 Is the Preferred Choice for a Video Gaming Console

People today demand only the best from the video games. Because of this, video game companies and developers are now doing everything they can to deliver the best video gaming consoles ever developed. Today, one such video game console that is very popular among a lot of people is the Xbox 360. So, why should you get the Xbox 360 instead of the other leading video gaming consoles available?

For starters, Xbox 360 is the preferred choice among a lot of video gamers today because this gaming console offers a wide variety of games. Whatever it is you are looking for in a video game, you will see that the Xbox 360 has the right game for you. From action games, to strategy games, to MMO games, you will be able to find the game available for Xbox 360.

Another reason why the Xbox 360 is very popular is because it is very easy to use. Most of the leading video gaming consoles today are very complicated to use and it defeats the point of it all that it should be fun. Xbox 360 is both simple and fun to play with. Besides, simplicity is what games should be in order for it to be fun to play with.

The Xbox 360 Live is another great reason why you should prefer this gaming console above all others. With the Xbox 360 Live, you will be able to play with some of the most popular gaming titles online with your friends. In fact, you can even play with your friend in New York City even if you are in Los Angeles at the same time and in real time. With its online capabilities, you will be able to truly experience what multiplayer is all about.

The Xbox 360 also offers the best innovation when it comes to games. For example, if you want to truly feel as if you are a rock star, the game Rock Band will be able to provide it to you. You don’t have to use the standard controllers as there are customized controllers for this game, such as the drum kit, the guitars, and the microphone. Indeed, Xbox 360 will definitely put you in the game rather than just playing a video game.

If you owned a Microsoft Xbox before, then your old Xbox games will not go to waste as Xbox 360 will still be able to play these games.

With the state of the art GPU and CPU installed, you can be sure that you will only have the best gaming experience that no other can offer. Xbox 360 has it all. From the great graphics to the online capabilities to multimedia capabilities, you can be sure that you can never go wrong with the Xbox 360.

So, the next time you plan on purchasing a video gaming console, try to consider the Xbox 360. This doesn’t just let you play a video game, but it will let you experience what video gaming is all about and what it should be about.

Xbox 360 is one of the most popular gaming consoles available in the market today. So, if you don’t want to be left out and if you really consider yourself as a serious gamer, you might want to get the Xbox 360. With the features it offers, you will definitely get your money’s worth with this video gaming console.

Japan summons one more Final Fantasy XIII trailer

Square Enix has released yet another Japanese language trailer for Final Fantasy XIII, likely the last one before the game hits retail stores across the Pacific. This five minute video features a lot of recycled footage from earlier trailers, but attentive fans will notice the reveal of new characters (villains, perhaps?).

The highlights of this lengthy preview are the franchise’s trademark over-the-top summons — made even more spectacular and grandiose for this generation’s first numbered entry in the Final Fantasy series. Of course, Square Enix fans would have it no other way.

Bayonetta’s dancing is really ’sexy’

Did you think the footage of Bayonetta summoning intricate torture devices was disturbing? Wait until you see this context-free prototype dancing footage, featuring everyone’s favorite giant witch cutting a motion-captured rug (after the break). We don’t know if it’s the fact that the animations have yet to be finalized in this sequence, or if it’s the idea of Bayonetta taking a break from her brutal revenge quest to get down, or if it’s simply Bayonetta’s flagrantly inhuman body proportions, but yikes.

What kind of touch-ups did Platinum do after this prototype stage? ” … on Kamiya-san’s orders,” animator Uchi says, “we accentuated the movements of her waist and butt to make it over-the-top in the sexiness department.” You’d have to accentuate the hell out of those movements to go from that to “sexy.”

The terrifying prototypes of Tony Hawk: Ride

Not everyone can be as skilled as we were the very first time we tried Tony Hawk: Ride. Most people, as we understand it, are a bit daunted by the game’s iconic peripheral at first. We’re told it can be quite intimidating. That may be true, but just wait until you see some of the original prototypes Robomodo recently revealed to Develop. Employing wooden boards, blank decks, arcade buttons, trackballs and, yes, duct tape, the prototypes appear infinitely more frightening than the comparatively svelte final product. Check them out and be thankful for the Ride that never was.

If Namco releases more Tekken 6 DLC, it will be free

Producer Katsuhiro Harada commented to UK.PlayStation.com that more Tekken 6 content is likely to be on the way via DLC, adding to the retailer-exclusive Cardboard Tube Samurai outfit. But we can’t groan about Namco Bandai using DLC for the popular fighter as a cash machine, because the company doesn’t intend to charge for it. Harada said there was a “strong possibility” of additional downloadable content for the game — possibly for the PSP version as well, since he didn’t specify. “However, even if we were to do so, it would be free to the end user.”

Of course, this is the same company that released paid Star Wars DLC for Soul Calibur IV after the director said there wouldn’t be. So don’t go empty out your Tekken 6 DLC fund just yet.

The time-lapse evolution of a Castle Crashers boss

The Behemoth, purveyor of fine classic-style action games with lovely high-res 2D artwork, has posted a nice time-lapse video on its developer blog showcasing the evolution of one of its Castle Crashers boss characters. In it, we get to see The Painter come a long way from his meager palette-sporting beginnings to the giant roller-wielding, toolbox-for-a-head monster we’ve come to know and despise.

It’s not often that we get a glimpse at this aspect of the development process — perhaps because a time-lapse video of an artist creating the 3D model for, say, the Joker from Batman: Arkham Asylum would be the length of most theatrical releases. The Behemoth’s video, after the break, is thankfully only seven-and-a-half minutes long.

GameStop ‘Buy 2, Get 1 Free’ used game sale starts tomorrow

You’ve probably got a ton of brand new games you want to purchase, but with Christmas just around the corner, the available funds to buy things for yourself are likely dwindling. Tomorrow through Sunday, GameStop’s got a helpful solution: A Buy 2, Get 1 Free sale on all used games. The sale is both in-store and online, though you’ll need to use code B2G1FREE, along with SAVER to get free shipping on $25-plus orders.

Just so there’s no confusion, we’re not suggesting that you buy used games for yourself to save money, far from it. We just can’t help but think how much extra cash you’d have left for Assassin’s Creed 2 if you got everyone on your list a second-hand copy of Wheelman.

Here’s your Crackdown 2 weapon loadout, agent!

Doling out only a handful of fresh screens for Crackdown 2 with a smattering of in-game renders, Ruffian Games has done little to supply us with more information on its upcoming game in today’s media release. Everything from various character designs to about two dozen weapon types can be found in the gallery below, showcasing the visually gussied-up artwork from the sequel to 2007’s surprise hit. It appears as though the few screenshots included are of areas we’ve seen in the past, though (as you can see in the image above) we’re now treated to many more explosions. Now if only we could get some sort of a release date, we could start getting properly excited for Crackdown 2. The thrill just ain’t there without an end in sight, ya know?

Section 8 update fixes matchmaking, Achievements, more

Timegate has released a title update for Section 8, which should fix several bugs in the game and tweak a few things. The main fixes include improved matchmaking, a fix for faulty Achievements and improved tank controls. AI bots will now also follow and defend human players, and the update also fixes latency problems and lost stats. There’s a host of other smaller tweaks and changes as well, which you can read about on the Section 8 forums.

Likely not fixed by the patch, a precipitous drop in players since November 10.
